Background and Discussion:
The BEAR HEART program provides hope and care for abused and neglected children in Harris County. BEAR's programs serve children by providing supplies, diapers, school uniforms, shoes, clothes, etc. BEAR also provides needed items for youth who are graduating from high school and transitioning out of CPS care.
Expected Impact:
The budget of $50,076.80 plus lapsed funds of $2,526.40 will cover Salaries of one position, the HEART Gallery Coordinator and Harris County Resources for Children and Adults will support the grant by covering the cost of the associated fringes estimated at $28,573.04.
