Background and Discussion:
Project includes reconstruction of the existing Crosby Lynchburg Road from the existing asphalt road to a concrete five-lane roadway with curb and gutter. Change includes a pay item for the TCEQ permit, low profile barriers, flowable fill, and a special drill shaft bit required due to existing soil conditions. Change also includes time for utility conflict delays, completing the additional work and for plan revisions required to complete the project.
Expected Impact:
Changes allow the project to be completed in accordance with the original intent of the project and to allow the Contractor time to complete this additional work without penalty.
