Background and Discussion:
Project includes the widening of Hufsmith Road from Burroughs Park to Saddlecliff Trail to a 3-lane asphalt road with continuous left turn lane. Change includes storm sewer relocation to avoid utility conflicts, the addition of an item for concrete driveways to match the existing conditions, removal of a fence around a signal cabinet, and the addition of a fence and trees at the request of the Precinct. Change also includes additional time: unsuitable soil conditions (83 days), utility conflict (5 days), change from asphalt to concrete driveways (3 days), removal of fence (1 day) and installation of additional trees and fence (15 days).
Expected Impact:
Changes add additional work to the project to allow the completion of the scope in accordance with the original intent and to add new items at the request of the Precinct.
