Background and Discussion:

The purpose of the Harris County Women’s Commission (“Commission”) is to serve as an advisory body to the Commissioners Court. The Commission will conduct research, produce reports, engage with the community, and make recommendations to Commissioners Court related to economic opportunities and health outcomes of women, of all races and ethnicities and income levels, in Harris County. Even numbered seats have a 2-year term, odd numbered seats have 3-year term. Per the bylaws, terms begin in January of each year. Thus, terms would expire January 1, 2024 and January 1, 2025.
