Background and Discussion:

Approval of certain projects, decreeing the projects to be a public necessity and convenience, and directing the Harris County Real Property Division to acquire fee simple tracts for the public project known as the Harris County Project Recovery Post Disaster Relocation and Buyout Program, for the purpose of preventing future flood damage.

 

This tract was previously approved for public necessity on September 15th, 2020 but the lot numbers were stated incorrectly.  This request will provide a correction to the lot numbers in the attached documents.

 

Expected Impact:

Harris County’s future flood resilience and the safety of our residents and first responders depends upon returning repetitively flooded areas to green space.
