Background and Discussion:
On May 19, 2020, Commissioners Court approved an agreement between the Harris County and HCHA Redevelopment Authority, Inc. for the Arbor at Wayforest Project. Attached for Commissioners Court review and approval is the second Amendment to the agreement between Harris County and HCHA Redevelopment Authority, Inc., for the above-described project. The Parties desire to amend said agreement to extend the 18-month construction completion requirement for approximately two additional months to September 28, 2022; increase the Harris County CSD Management and Oversight and HCED Inspections line-item to $447,318; and decrease the Construction Management Fee by $31,600. These changes result in an increase to the total CDBG-DR FY17 funds utilized for this project by $186,219 to $9,400,000. The total amount of funding for this project is now $33,105,704.

Expected Impact:
