Background and Discussion:
HDR Engineering, Inc. was authorized to perform study, design, and bid phase engineering services for the High Meadows and Fairgreen Subdivision Drainage Improvements - 2018 project within Harris County Precinct 2. The results of these studies determine that the proposed improvement do not cause any adverse impact to the receiving drainage system. The drainage impact analysis determined that the proposed design would raise the drainage system's level of service to the 10-Year Storm Event. The proposed design was developed to conform to HCED's Regulations for the approval and acceptance of Infrastructure which include adding additional and new storm sewer systems along Charriton DR, Debeney DR, and Fern Meadow LN as well as remove/replacement of roadway.

Expected Impact:
Approval of the Final Study Report will allow the High Meadows and Fairgreen Subdivision Design and Construction to move forward. For the 100-Year storm event, this project will provide reduced flood rick for 10 homes.

Alternative Options:
No alternative option for this project is possible other than performing no additional work. However, in this area, the subdivision will continue to be a risk of flooding and structural damage to homes in the community.
