Background and Discussion:
The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) has created regional flood planning groups to assist in the creation of the first ever statewide flood plan. Alisa Max, P.E. was appointed by the State, with support from Commissioners Court, to serve on the San Jacinto Regional Flood Planning Group (SJRFPG) as a representative for all counties in the region, with Brock Crenek as her alternate. With the vacancies of Alisa and Brock as primary and alternate respectively, Harris County nominated Erwin Burden, P.E. as replacement. Erwin Burden, P.E. has recommended Isabel Fung, P.E., PMP, as his alternate on the planning group. The Office of the County Engineer recommends the appointment of Isabel Fung as alternate to the SJRFPG. Within the Engineering Department, Erwin is the Assistant Director of Recovery and Resiliency, and Isabel is the Program Manager of Recovery and Resiliency, and both oversee the subdivision drainage program.
