Background and Discussion:

The County entered into an agreement for professional engineering services with R.G. Miller Engineers to provide improvements to Nabors Parkway from HWY 249 to Holderrieth on June 26, 2018.  

 

The scope of this request is to address a partial redesign needed to reduce conflicts with existing pipelines.  This will decrease the cost of the project.   

 

Expected Impact:

The Project will address current and future traffic volumes, reduce delays, provide connectivity to schools and neighborhood destinations, improve safety for pedestrians and motorists, improve roadway conditions, and reduce potential flooding with drainage improvements.

 

Alternative Options:

Relocate the existing pipelines at an additional cost to Harris County.
