Background and Discussion:
As part of the implementation of the All-Electronic Tolling program, the Harris County Toll Road Authority intends to procure the professional services of qualified engineers to provide engineering and planning services.
The May 24, 2022 Commissioners Court approved the negotiation with Atkins North America, Inc. to provide engineering design services for the proposed improvements related to the Sam Houston Tollway Segment #2 - Central in Harris County.
Expected Impact:
The professional service contract will permit HCTRA to support the system planning, engineering, sustainability, tolling, and development of business rules for the conversion to All-Electronic Tolling.
