Background and Discussion:
Design and construction of dual left turn lanes on the southbound approach and extend the westbound and northbound left turn lanes.
Expected Impact:
This amendment will be proposing to add a sidewalk at the southwest corner of the intersection to connect to the existing sidewalk along Cypresswood and acquisition based on the recommendation of sight triangle distance.
Alternative Options:
The alternative would be to not construct the new sidewalk along Cypresswood. The existing cutoff sidewalk would not be able to provide constituents a safe trail towards the new ada ramp at the southwest corner and provide safe sight distance for drivers making right turn lanes.
