Background and Discussion:
On April 7, 2020, Commissioners Court approved an agreement between the Harris County and HCHA Redevelopment Authority, Inc. for The Hollows Project. On October 13, 2020; August 10, 2021; January 4, 2022; and April 5, 2022; Commissioners Court approved the First, Second, Third, and Fourth Amendments that amended the agreement, respectively. Attached for Commissioners Court review and approval is the fifth amendment to the agreement between Harris County and HCHA Redevelopment Authority, Inc., for the above-described project to increase the CSD Management and Oversight and HCED Inspections line-item to $523,810. This change in the budget results in an increase to the total CDBG-DR FY17 funds by $272,528.00 and the total amount of funding for this project to $39,098,647.00.
Expected Impact:
The expected impact is to adjust the budget to allow for the project to be completed. The fiscal impact of the amendment to the County is $272,528 in CDBG-DR FY17 funds.
