Background and Discussion:

This project was designed by Atlas Engineering under an On Call contract with Precinct 2 authorized by Commissioners Court on 04/13/2021.

Expected Impact:

The expected impact of this project is to provide the public with better streets in their neighborhoods to have a safer and easiest trip from their community to different services. It will create additional working positions to the constituents of the precinct. It will result in savings in gas consumption and vehicle repairs.

Alternative Options:

The option is not doing the repairs and Precinct will save expenses but it will accelerate the bad condition of roads that could provoke delays, cause accidents and make transit of constituents more difficult and costly.

Alignment with Goal(s):

_ Justice and Safety

_ Economic Opportunity

_ Housing

_ Public Health

X Transportation
