Background and Discussion:

Project includes build out of the second half of the boulevard section of existing El Dorado Blvd from approximately 250' north of Woodbourne Dr. north to Clear Lake City Blvd.  Change includes adding removal/replacement of pipe, connection of pipe to existing manhole, 2 new inlets and concrete pavement.  Change also includes increase in number of bollards.  Days include time to complete the Phase 2 work.

 

 

Expected Impact:

Change allows work that was originally scheduled to be completed in El Dorado Phase 2 to be completed in Phase 1.  This will eliminate the need for additional road closures and re-work in Phase 2.  Change for increase in number of bollards is to compensate the contractor for the additional bollards shown to be installed in the contract plans.

 

Alternative Options:

Keep the Phase 2 work in Phase 2 and reduce the number of bollards from what’s shown in the plans.
