Title: Request by the County Judge for the Office of County Administration, the Purchasing Department, the Auditor's Office, the County Attorney's Office, and any other relevant departments to conduct research and work with external experts to assess procurement and contracting for best practices and ethics standards, to update the County's vendor database as needed, and to develop an updated, publicly available Harris County procurement and contracting handbook.
