Background and Discussion:

Bike to the Beach hosts 100, 50, and 25 mile destination charity events to support local Autism & disABILITY organizations.  In the Houston area, Bike to the Beach has partnered with and supports the following local non-profits:  Brookwood Community, Down Syndrome Association of Houston, Bloom Fitness, The Monarch School and Institute, Center for Pursuit, Avondale House, Summerhouse Houston, The Arc of Greater Houston, The H.E.A.R.T. Program, Family to Family Network, The HUB Houston, The Village Centers, and Autism Speaks (Texas Chapter).

 

The charity bike ride will start at Houston’s First Baptist Church in Houston, Texas which is located in Precinct 3. Riders will bike through Harris County on route to a final destination in Brazoria County at Stahlman Park in Surfside Beach, Texas.
