Background and Discussion:

Original ILA was previously approved by CC on April 10, 2018 for construction of Phase 1 improvements to El Dorado Boulevard from Clear Lake City Boulevard to approximately 585-feet north of Willow Shores Drive, UPIN 17102MF0PM01, Precinct 2

The project phase 1 is to construct two southbound lanes, to complete the existing two-lane concrete section to a four-lane concrete boulevard within existing ROW limits. The project also modifies the existing traffic signal systems at Brook Forest Drive and at Clear Lake City Boulevard. The new lanes will cross the bayou with a new bridge structure. Phase 2 of the project is to install storm drainage to address Atlas 14. This is a joint project between Harris County and the City of Houston.

The amendment is for additional funding for Phase 2 to construct additional drainage to accommodate Atlas 14 requirements.
