Background and Discussion:

This is a renewal agreement for Job No. 18/0337 F5 Network Hardware, Software, Maintenance, Support, Training, Consulting Services and Related Items for HCTRA.  This agreement is for support of ongoing operations of critical business applications and services for HCTRA.  The F5 provide services to increase capacity (concurrent users) and reliability of applications.  F5 improves the overall performance of applications by decreasing the burden on servers associated with managing and maintaining application and network sessions, as well as by performing application-specific tasks.

 

Expected Impact:

Funding for this request will come from the Toll Road Authority’s O&M Budget and from the Toll Road Authority’s CIP project Toll System upgrades, maintenance, and capital support.
