Background and Discussion:
The Texas Anti-Gang Center, funded through the Office of the Governor, provides support for TAG Center operations.
Expected Impact:
The awarding of the FY ’22 TAG grant was unexpectedly delayed by the grantor, the Texas Office of the Governor. An extension has been approved for this grant award in order to allow the department to continue normal TAG operations while the budget for the upcoming year is being finalized.
Alternative Options:
The alternative is to not extend this grant, which would result in program costs not being reimbursed.
