Background and Discussion:
Southeast Texas Regional Advisory Council will provide administrative services to provide healthcare staffing resources by identifying staffing for various hospitals, prioritize the needs and place timely, work with staffing agency to jointly problem solve and embrace whatever decisions most quickly bring nurses to bedsides.
The First Amendment to the agreement was executed per the Public Health or Safety Exemption on behalf of the County by Judge Hidalgo on October 1, 2021 to extend the term of the services through November 30, 2021 or expenditure of all funds appropriated under the original agreement.
The original agreement per the Public Health or Safety Exemption was transmitted to Commissioner Court on September 14, 2021 with Southeast Texas Regional Advisory Council for administrative services for healthcare staffing resources for Public Health Services in the amount of $1,500,000 for the period of August 30, 2021 - October 4, 2021. The original agreement was executed on behalf of the County by Judge Hidalgo on August 30, 2021.
