Background and Discussion:
The Texas Water Development has established regional committees to address the planning required to ensure the state has adequate (drinking) water in the future; Harris County is located in Region H. John Blount, P.E., has served as a representative for counties within Region H for many years. Loyd Smith, P.E., has served as John's alternate to this committee at the time of John's retirement. The Committee will determine who John's replacement is amongst all the counties within its boundaries.
