Background and Discussion:
Angel Staffing will recruit qualified Healthcare Professionals to staff facilities from Harris County and/or Harris County’s direct and indirect subsidiaries to assist with the demands related to COVID-19.
The First Amendment to the agreement was executed per the Public Health or Safety Exemption on behalf of the County by Judge Hidalgo on October 1, 2021 to extend the term of the services through November 30, 2021 or expenditure of all funds appropriated under the original agreement.
The original agreement per the Public Health or Safety Exemption was transmitted to Commissioner Court on September 14, 2021 with Angel Staffing, Inc. for temporary healthcare staffing for Public Health Services in the amount of $28,000,000 for the period of August 30, 2021 - October 4, 2021. The original agreement was executed on behalf of the County by Judge Hidalgo on August 28, 2021.
