Background and Discussion:

This construction materials engineering and testing agreement will support quality assurance testing for the project(s) consists of general repairs, for projects located throughout the northern portions of Harris County.  Major emphasis of this repair contract will be earthwork and associated items of repair for stormwater conveyance facilities.  Individual projects will be authorized on a work order basis.

 

Expected Impact:

General repairs of stormwater conveyance facilities will improve and enhance their drainage capacity and will reduce flooding risks.

 

Alternative Options:

The alternative would be to select another firm for this assignment which would result in a delay in starting this project.
