Background and Discussion:
The goal of this study report is to evaluate six UPRR and BNSF railroad crossings between IH-45 and Hardy Toll Road for potential quiet zones by identifying safety and noise issues, developing potential solutions and an engineering estimate of probable cost, which will provide a firm foundation of information to seek funding partners from regional stakeholders and agencies.
