Background and Discussion:

 

 The County will engage Sander Engineering Corp to study and design the project. The goal of improving with North Eldridge Parkway - from South of Pine Drive to South of Lakewood Meadow Drive is to achieve a level of service to meet current and future traffic volumes and reduce delays. Sander Engineering Corp is qualified to perform these services. The firm is registered with Harris County Engineering Department Professional Service Registry.

 

 

Expected Impact:

 

 The project will address current and future traffic volumes, reduce delays and improve drainage along this section of North Eldridge Parkway.

 

 

 

Alternative Options:

If the County does not authorize the negotiations with SANDER ENGINEERING CORP, North Eldridge Parkway will remain with the existing two lane road which will traffic congestion for the general public as the area is experiencing growth.
