Background and Discussion:
The County will engage TRAF-IQ Inc. to study and design the project.
The goal of improving with Barker Cypress Road at Longenbaugh and Fry Road at Bridgeland Creek Parkway intersections is to achieve a level of service to meet current and future traffic volumes and reduce delays.
TRAF-IQ Inc is qualified to perform these services. The firm is registered with Harris County Engineering Department Professional Service Registry.
Expected Impact:
The project will address current and future traffic volumes and reduce delays at these two intersections.
Alternative Options:
If the County does not authorize the negotiations with TRAF-IQ, Inc. the intersections will remain with the existing conditions which causes traffic congestion for the general public.
