Background and Discussion:
The County will engage Gradient Group LLC. to study and design the project. The goal of improving with Greenhouse at IH 10 intersection is to achieve a level of service to meet current and future traffic volumes, reduce delays and improve pedestrian mobility and safety. Gradient Group LLC is qualified to perform these services. The firm is registered with Harris County Engineering Department Professional Service Registry.
Expected Impact:
The project will address current and future traffic volumes, reduce delays and improve pedestrian safety at the intersection.
Alternative Options:
If the County does not authorize the negotiations with GRADIENT GROUP LLC the intersections will remain with the existing conditions which causes traffic congestion for the general public.
