Background and Discussion:
Asphalt Roadway Reconstruction in various locations throughout Harris County Precinct 3. It includes a total reconstruction of Asphaltic pavement and pavement subgrade in the Waller Spring Creek Area.
Expected Impact:
Reconstructing this road will improve pavement conditions and enhance drainage capacity, thereby improving mobility and safety for all road users and flood resiliency for all adjacent properties. This purchase order will ensure that all materials used in the project are of acceptable quality as required by state law.
Alternative Options:
Construction materials testing is required by state law. Thus, alternatives include issuing a purchase order for similar services to a different vendor, or cancelling this construction project.
