Background and Discussion:

The White Oak Bayou Federal Project is performing channel modifications within this segment of the bayou, from Hollister to FM 1960.  ExxonMobil has a pipeline easement that crosses the bayou.  HCFCD requires this agreement to make channel modifications within the pipeline easement.

 

Expected Impact:

The channel modification within this project will reduce the risk of flooding along White Oak Bayou.

 

Alternative Options:

No action on this item will result in a reduction of the expected benefits for the White Oak Bayou Federal Project.
