Background and Discussion:

 

Install a new signal and perform minor roadway repairs at the Huffmeister Road/Louetta Road and Huffmeister Road (South leg) Intersection.  Changes include minor reductions in conduit and signal wire.  It also includes an extension of the contract time of 2 calendar days to install Precinct requested additional street name signs.

 

Expected Impact:

 

Changes allow the completion of the project in accordance with the original intent of the project.  This Change Order is a reduction in overall cost; the project is funded by the Harris County Engineering Department and the funds will be credited back to this department.

 

Alternative Options:

 

Harris County not recoup the cost for quantities not used on the project.
