Background and Discussion:
The county engaged HR Green, Inc. to study and design the project in 2015, and now seeks HR Green, Inc. to assist and in additional design services.
The goal of improving Hufsmith-Kohrville Rd 3 is to achieve a level of service to meet current and future traffic volumes, reduce delays, and reduce structural flooding of adjacent residences businesses, and schools.
HR Green, Inc. is qualified to perform these professional services due to the firm’s technical and managerial expertise.
Expected Impact:
The project will address current and future traffic volumes, reduce delays, and reduce structural flooding of adjacent residence, businesses, and schools.
Alternative Options:
If the County doesn’t enter into an agreement with HR Green, Inc. to assist in the design of a turn lane
for the development this would need to be done at a later date by a contractor and may not be
completed to Harris County Standards.
