Background and Discussion:

 

 The County engaged MBCO Engineering LLC to study and design the project in May 2021.

The goal of improving Mason Road at Cypresswood Drive Intersection is to achieve a level of service to meet current and future traffic volumes, reduce delays, and provide safe mobility for pedestrians and bicyclists.

MBCO Engineering LLC is qualified to perform these services. The firm is registered with Harris County Engineering Department Professional Service Registry.

 

 

Expected Impact:

 

 The project will address current and future traffic volumes, reduce delays at the Mason Road and Cypresswood Drive intersection.

 

 

 

Alternative Options:

 

 If the County does not enter into agreement with MBCO Engineering LLC, for the design of the Mason Road at Cypresswood intersection will remain with the existing conditions which will traffic congestion for the general public as the area is experiencing growth.
