Background and Discussion:
Flood Control District Bond Project Z-02 designates $175M for partnership projects with municipalities, authorities, and other districts within Harris County. Several municipalities and other districts have expressed interest in partnering with the Flood Control District using this funding sources. Harris County Precinct 2 put out a call for projects to all municipalities and districts located within the Precinct. Harris County MUD 290 has completed plans for a major channel repair project. The MUD has agreed to a 50/50 level of participation on funding drainage-related items. The District and MUD plan to collaborate on this project since it will be mutually beneficial to have this channel repaired.
Fiscal Impact: There is no cost associated with this court item.

The alternative would be to not enter into this collaborative project which would delay the progress of the Bond Program.
