Request for approval of orders authorizing acceptance of payments in connection with settlement of damages to county equipment and property in the total amount of $38,730 and four workers compensation recoveries in the amount of $3,113; tort claim and other settlement recommendations in the total amount of $89,808; denial of 25 claims for damages; and transmittal of claims for damages received during the period ending June 1, 2021.

Background and Discussion:
Report all monies recovered from claimants, all claims that were denied, all claims for damages that was received, monies received for workers compensation claims, payments requested for claimant’s vehicle/property damage and any releases received for payments owed to the county. Tort claim recoveries and expenses are applied to the General Fund (1000) and workers compensation claims and recoveries are applied to the Workers Compensation Fund (5121). $41,843 of recoveries is offset by $89,808 of expenses, for a net revenue decrease of $47,965.
