Request by the Commissioner of Precinct 2 for approval of an extension of the Sylvan Beach Bait House Concessionaires Contract until August 31, 2021 or until a new agreement is in place.

Background and Discussion:
The current agreement requires the contract to be rebid once the extension options are exhausted. The new RFP was Advertised by Harris County Purchasing on April 16th, 2021 with proposals due on May 10th, 2021. This extension request will ensure that the public continues to have access to the Bait House and ticketing purchases to allow access to the pier until a new contract and agreement is awarded and finalized.
