Background and Discussion:
On September 10, 2019, Commissioners Court referred to the Justice Administration Department responsibilities related to victims to include the survey of existing victims’ services and the identification of gaps and opportunities for innovation, trauma prevention, and restorative justice. Justice Administration Department partnered with Dr. Suzanne Brown-McBride of Impossible6, LLC to conduct a Survivors of Crime Survey in Harris County.
