Fiscal Impact:
The cost of the request is based on the pre-approved contract law enforcement rates set by Harris County Commissioners Court and the approved fiscal budget of the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office for 2021-22. These funds are derived from the customer and the general fund.

• To provide for the safety and protection of the employees of the Department by all reasonable means.
• Preservation of the peace and dignity of the community.
• To provide traffic enforcement directed at safe movement of the public throughout the community.
• Exercise diligence in the recovery of loss.
• To provide community programs directed toward assisting the public with education and awareness.
