Request that the County Judge execute a memorandum of understanding between Universal Services, the Sheriff’s Office, and Texas City Marshal’s Office to allow TCMO to have stand alone full service access to the county’s Southeast Texas Crime Information Center application at no cost to the county.

Background and Discussion:
Harris County Sheriff’s Office and Justice Technology Committee have granted access to the Southeast Texas Crime Information Center which is administered by Harris County Universal Services.
Fiscal Impact:
External agency will pay the following fees:
1. Annual participation fee of $3000.00
2. Service Fee of $.20 per warrant entered during the monthly period
3. Monthly service fee of $3.00 per warrant located
