Background and Discussion:
On March 10, 2020 Commissioners Court adopted the Interview and Relocation Expense Policy to assist Elected Officials and Department Heads with the recruitment and employment of qualified, talented candidates who may reside outside the Harris County area. Certain revisions to the policy are recommended based on utilization of the policy over the past year (see summary of revisions attached.

There is not enough utilization of the policy to determine a fiscal impact, however, it should be very minimal.
