Request that the County Judge execute an amendment to an agreement with Pine Village Utility District to add $71,900 in Community Development Block Grant funds and $108,984 in leverage funds to adequately cover project costs and to extend the project completion date for the Lift Station No. 2 improvements project in Precinct 1.

Background and Discussion:

On March 12, 2019, Commissioners Court approved an Agreement between Harris County and the Pine

Village Public Utility District using $395,000 in Program Year (PY) 2018 CDBG funds to Pine Village PUD

for Lift Station No. 2 Improvements Project. The total amount of CDBG funds allocated is now $466,905.00

and the total amount of leverage funds is now $239,984.26; project completion date is now April 30, 2021.

The additional funds are needed to cover a funding shortfall and a change order adds days to the

construction contract.
