Background and Discussion:
The Harris County District Attorney's Office (DAO) is dedicated to building trust, fostering stronger relationships with local communities, strengthening relationships across Harris County's diverse community, building a strong internal team and promoting a culture of collaboration and transparency. To support these efforts, we are seeking approval to use the department's Procurement Card (P-Card), purchase orders, or request reimbursement, as needed, for events, activities and meetings throughout FY2027.
Some of these will be hosted by DAO and will include community outreach. DAO will purchase light refreshments, food, and related items. These events will bring communities together and inform them about programs and policies of the District Attorney's Office that are put in place to make the community safer and more just.
