Background and Discussion:
The Staff Sergeant Fox Suicide Prevention Grant enables Harris County Veterans enrolled in the program to access tailored suicide prevention plans, a dedicated case manager, and mental health services. Enrollment also allows veterans to receive much-needed access to housing, clothing, transportation, childcare, food security, employment opportunities, and peer support. The award number for the grant period October 1, 2026 – September 30, 2027, is TX-SSG-1237-22.
