Background and Discussion:
The Flood Control District is proposing to construct a stormwater detention basin located South of Cypresswood Drive and West of TC Jester Blvd in Harris County Precinct 3. The objective of the project is to provide approximately 210 acre-feet of stormwater storage capacity at the confluence of Cypress Creek and Spring Gully (HCFCD Unit K131-00-00). This is a request to approve right-of-way acquisitions. These properties are located within the detention basin site limits located south of Cypresswood Drive and West of TC Jester Boulevard.
