Background and Discussion:
Harris Health System is a fully integrated healthcare system that cares for all residents of Harris County, Texas. It is the first accredited healthcare institution in Harris County to be designated as a Medical Home and one of the largest in the country. The system includes: Ben Taub Hospital (Est. 1963), Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital (Est. 1989), and Outpatient/ Ambulatory care services.
