Request by the Office of County Administration for an Executive Session for discussion and possible reappointment of Kristen Lee, a nominee from the Commissioner of Precinct 2, to the La Porte Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone No. 1, Position 9, for a term beginning March 30, 2025, and ending March 30, 2027.

Background and Discussion:
The purpose of the zone is to finance the development and redevelopment of underdeveloped or blighted areas within the zone. The board of directors for the zone is tasked with preparing and implementing the project plan and reinvestment zone financing plans. The board consists of nine members. Positions one through six on the board are reserved for the City of La Porte. Positions Seven, Eight and Nine are reserved for other taxing units levying taxes within the zone, including Harris County and La Porte Independent School District.
