Background and Discussion:
The Navigation Blvd Reconfiguration Project was funded through the H-GAC's Carry Over Spenddown process in December 2023. The project limits include Navigation Boulevard from Lockwood Drive to Mack Street. The proposed project will convert one travel lane in each direction to a dedicated bicycle and pedestrian route enhancing access to transit. On February 22, 2024, the East End District Board of Directors approved the transfer of the $9,521,060 grant to Harris County for the execution of the Navigation Boulevard Reconfiguration Project.
