Background and Discussion:
On February 27, 2025, Commissioners Court approved a request to advertise for OSHA 10-hour and 30-hour Certified Training to comply with the policy approved by Commissioners Court on January 10, 2023 which ensures that Harris County employs prime contractors and subcontractors that prioritize the Health & Safety of their workers thereby improving the quality of Harris County construction projects while also enhancing the safety of workers.

The selected contractors will assist HCTRA with OSHA Construction Industry 10-hour and 30-hour Certification training classes through maintaining an OSHA Instructor pool.

Expected Impact:
Funding will come from the Harris County Toll Road Authority.
