Background and Discussion:
The Northern Point subdivision has experienced flooding during multiple storm events. Studies performed by the MOD outlined multiple issues that contributed to drainage deficiencies within the subdivision. This subdivision was included in the original list of subdivision drainage projects outlined in the 2018 Flood Control Bond Program.

Expected Impact:
The construction of these projects will provide sheetflow paths, improved pumping capacity for the detention basin, increase storage in another basin (Three Lakes East), and add a secondary pump station with backup generation. These improvements will reduce residential flood risk within the Northern Point subdivision.

Alternative Options:
To not partner with MUD 368 and continue to have a high flood risk.
