Background and Discussion:
On May 8, 2025, Commissioners Court approved negotiations of an agreement for construction management services for the replacement of the Lynchburg Ferry operations and maintenance building and warehouse. The selected firm will provide construction management services including overseeing construction to ensure optimum levels of safety and quality, inspections, construction materials testing, LEED certification, and federal compliance for the new Lynchburg Ferry Operations Building project. This agreement will safeguard that work is performed in accordance with the contract documents.

This project has received grant funds from the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) for construction costs.
