Background and Discussion:
On May 16, 2023, Commissioners Court approved an award to Tyler Technologies, Inc. for an electronic citation system. The electronic citation system enables automated issuance of citations which:
? allows for a reduction in the time required for deputies to issue citations,
? increases the legibility of completed citation forms,
? reduces the administrative errors associated with processing, and
? captures electronic signatures and various images.
